What’s the worst that could happen?
Kaitlyn Parker has no problem being the invisible girl, which is why she finds herself hiding in various cabinets and closets all over her college campus. Despite her best efforts, she can’t escape the notice of Martin Sandeke—bad boy, jerkface bully, and the universe’s hottest, wealthiest, and most unobtainable bachelor—who also happens to be Kaitlyn’s chemistry lab partner.
Kaitlyn might be the only girl who isn’t interested in exploiting his stunning rower’s build, chiseled features, and family's billionaire fortune. Kaitlyn wants Martin for his brain, specifically to tabulate findings of trace elements in surface water.
When Kaitlyn saves Martin from a nefarious plot, Martin uses the opportunity to push Kaitlyn out of her comfort zone: spring break, one week, house parties, bathing suits, and suntan lotion. Can she overcome her aversion to being noticed? Will he be able grow beyond his self-centered nature? Or, despite their obvious chemistry, will Martin be the one to drive Kaitlyn into the science cabinet of obscurity for good?

Kristine's Review:
Reviewed: March 2015.
There is a feeling that washes over me every time I pick up one of Penny Reid's books, it's akin to hanging out with my girlfriends, they're all a little left of centre, a little quirky, funny as hell, and with hearts of gold, Reid's words, the worlds she creates are like that, quirky, irreverent, always deviating from the stereotypical romance formula, her words, the worlds she creates always leave me feeling lighter, happier and desperate for more.
Kaitlyn Parker is smart, studious and completely uninterested in the usual college lifestyle, boys, binge drinking and parties don't even register for her, books, completing her studies and getting her degree is her soul focus. Until she overhears a plot to take down her lab partner Martin Sandeke. His sexy, arrogant, wealthy, smart, self sees his opportunity to convince Kaitlyn to spend some time with him in his own private oasis when she tries to warn him of the nefarious plot against him.
Fast paced, funny, a little quirky, Attraction had me hooked in the first pages and left me begging for more.
