Hilarious, laugh out loud funny, disturbingly good, from the disclaimer and snippets I'd read prior to release I knew I was in for a treat with BTC, McLean has a gift for tugging on the heart strings, but her comedic timing and ability to write the inner workings of a young mans mind is second to none. I wasn't really sure what to expect going into this one, other than a good time, and what I got was nothing short of a night lying in bed while trying to stifle my laughter once again while my husband was sleeping.
The story of frat boys saving their house from financial ruin by becoming escorts had me laughing my arse off, but where this could of been just a fun romp, McLean as I've come to expect from her injected her personal blend of heart, Allie the perfect counter to Tyler, as best friends who are still discovering that there may be more than just mateship lurking beneath the surface.
I loved every second of this story, McLean transitions seamlessly from heart wrenchingly tender to downright hilarious, with each book her ability as a writer grows, and it's breath taking to watch Jay McLean cement her place as an author to not only watch but an author to admire.
